About Tanner & Gunn
Tanner & Gunn is an independent advisory practice led by former Western Australian Police Sergeant and Prosecutor Supervisor Martin Tanner.
With over 30 years' experience in military, policing, investigations, counter terrorism, intelligence and criminal prosecutions, Martin understands how investigations are built, how evidence is assessed and where critical issues are often overlooked. That experience now supports legal practitioners, organisations and government by providing an independent perspective on investigations, information, evidence and other complex matters. Martin is licensed as an Inquiry Agent and Investigator under the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996 (WA).
Working alongside Martin is Director of Operations, Rochelle Gunn. Rochelle brings significant experience in governance, strategic planning, funding and stakeholder management across government, university, private and not-for-profit sectors. Since 2024, Rochelle has successfully secured over $16.7 million in grant funding for clients.
